Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using a Rusty Bolt Games product or service (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and any game-specific rules shown before a purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

The Services are intended for a general audience age 13 and older. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use and any purchase. Do not create an account if you are under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information.

3. Accounts

Some Services can be played without an account. An account may be required for usernames, online statistics, cloud saves, or purchases. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Accounts may not be sold, rented, shared for commercial use, or transferred without our written permission.

4. Rules of play

Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate play in a way that disrupts the Services, harass other players, impersonate others, interfere with our systems, scrape or extract data without permission, reverse engineer the Services except where law expressly permits it, or use the Services for unlawful activity. We may restrict online features or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect players or the Services. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination.

5. Purchases and virtual items

Prices, taxes, and the contents of a purchase are shown before checkout. Digital items and virtual currency are licensed for use in the applicable game; they are not money, property, or a stored-value account. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred unless we expressly provide that feature.

Even when multiple games offer packages with the same name, price, or quantity, each game keeps a separate virtual-currency balance. Buying currency for one game does not fund another game. Promotional currency may be accounted for separately from purchased currency.

Purchases are also governed by our Refund Policy and any game-specific purchase terms presented at checkout. If game-specific purchase terms conflict with these general Terms, the game-specific terms control for that purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits a non-waivable consumer right.

If a payment is reversed or disputed after delivery, we may remove the items that payment delivered and pause further purchasing on the account while we review the transaction. We will not terminate an account solely because a payment dispute was filed. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us first — a delivery problem is usually faster to resolve directly than through a dispute.

6. Changes to games

Games evolve. We may add, remove, or rebalance gameplay, modes, items, and features. We will not reduce an already purchased virtual-currency balance merely to rebalance a game. If we permanently discontinue a paid Service, we will provide notice and any remedy required by applicable law.

7. Our content

The Services and their code, art, audio, names, designs, and other content are owned by Rusty Bolt Games or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended entertainment purpose. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.

8. Feedback and player content

You keep ownership of content you create. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. If a Service permits public player content, you grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, display, moderate, and distribute that content through the Service.

9. Communications

We may send messages needed to operate your account, deliver purchases, protect the Services, or provide support. Marketing messages are optional where required by law, and you can unsubscribe using the instructions in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential account or transaction messages.

10. Third-party services

The Services may use or link to third parties such as identity providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services, or platform stores. Their services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rusty Bolt Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the Services. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the affected Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Spokane County, Washington, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to proceed elsewhere.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice or request consent when required for a material change. A change will not retroactively reduce an existing purchased virtual-currency balance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

15. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and applicable game-specific terms form the agreement between you and Rusty Bolt Games for the Services. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our permission. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the relevant business, subject to applicable law.
