Refund Policy
Effective August 6, 2026
This policy applies to purchases made directly from Rusty Bolt Games. A platform store’s refund policy applies when that store processed the purchase as the seller.
1. Requesting a refund
Email [email protected] with the account email, game, purchase date, transaction or receipt number, and reason for the request. Do not send full payment-card information.
2. Eligible requests
We will review requests involving duplicate charges, unauthorized purchases, technical failures that prevented delivery, or materially incorrect product descriptions. For direct purchases of virtual currency, you may request a refund within 14 days when the purchased currency remains unused. Promotional currency and bonuses have no refundable value.
3. Used digital items
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, consumed virtual currency and digital items that have been used, transferred, or permanently applied to an account are not refundable. If only part of a purchase remains unused, we may provide a proportional refund where practical or legally required.
4. Unauthorized purchases
Contact us promptly if you believe someone used your account or payment method without permission. We may ask for information needed to locate and secure the affected account. This does not limit rights you have through your payment provider or applicable law.
5. Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Bank processing times vary and can take several business days. Refunded virtual currency or items will be removed from the associated game account. Accounts involved in fraud or abuse may be restricted after investigation.
6. Platform purchases
Purchases made through Steam, Apple, Google Play, a console store, or another marketplace must generally be refunded through that platform. Its rules and statutory obligations apply.
7. Consumer rights
This policy does not replace or waive any mandatory consumer right. Different rules may apply based on your location, including withdrawal and conformity rights for digital products.
