Purchase Terms

1. Seller

Cinderhold is operated by Rusty Bolt Games, LLC. Rusty Bolt Games is the seller for purchases made directly through Cinderhold unless checkout clearly identifies another merchant of record. Where checkout identifies a different merchant of record, that company is the seller for that transaction and its purchase terms and tax treatment apply to it.

2. Account required

A registered Cinderhold account operated by Rusty Bolt Games is required to make and receive a purchase. Guest play remains available without a registered account, but guest sessions cannot purchase. A guest session is stored in your browser and can be lost by clearing site data or changing device, which would leave a purchase unrecoverable. Convert a guest session to a registered account before buying. Purchases are delivered only to the authenticated account that started checkout.

3. Supporter packs

A supporter pack grants the contents displayed at checkout after payment is confirmed. Pack contents are licensed for use in Cinderhold on the purchasing account. They are account-bound, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be transferred between players or games unless we expressly provide that feature.

Supporter packs are intended to be cosmetic or convenience content. Where a pack includes anything that affects gameplay, checkout will describe it before payment.

4. Cinderhold coins

Cinderhold may offer a virtual currency. Where it does, a coin package grants the quantity displayed at checkout after payment is confirmed, and coins can be used only for eligible Cinderhold content.

Another Rusty Bolt game may offer a package with the same name, price, or quantity. This does not combine balances. Coins purchased for Cinderhold remain in Cinderhold; coins purchased for another Rusty Bolt game remain in that game. Coins do not expire.

5. Price and delivery

Checkout displays the real-money price, currency, taxes when available, and the exact contents or coin quantity before payment. Purchases are delivered to your account shortly after payment is confirmed. If delivery fails, do not purchase the same item repeatedly; contact support with the transaction number.

Because supporter pack contents are unlocked on your account immediately, checkout asks you to agree to immediate delivery. Where you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase, agreeing to immediate delivery ends that right once delivery is complete. This does not limit any non-waivable consumer right, and it does not affect the separate treatment of unused coins described below.

6. Purchased and promotional items

Purchased content and free promotional content may be tracked separately. Promotional packs, coins, bonuses, gifts, and event rewards are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for money. The game will not represent promotional content as having been purchased.

7. Refunds

Direct purchases follow the Rusty Bolt Games Refund Policy.

Supporter packs are delivered in full at purchase. Where law requires a refund, or where we agree to one as a courtesy, an approved refund removes the pack contents from the account.

Coins, where offered, follow the same treatment as other Rusty Bolt virtual currency: unused purchased coins can generally be requested for refund within 14 days. Used coins are not refundable except where law requires otherwise. An approved refund removes the corresponding coins or items from the account.

A refund may leave an account with a negative coin balance if items bought with refunded coins have already been consumed. We will resolve this with you rather than removing unrelated content.

8. Gameplay changes

Cinderhold’s balance, layers, ore rates, upgrades, dwarves, and other gameplay may change over time. A balance change does not entitle a player to a refund merely because an item or strategy becomes stronger or weaker. We will not reduce your purchased coin balance, or remove purchased supporter pack contents, as part of a balance update.
